Argus Fire is a very well-known third-generation New Zealand-owned company situated on the City Fringe.

Our Auckland Service division is looking for an experienced Administration Supervisor to cover maternity leave. Your great attitude and your strong work ethic will be enough to get your foot in the door of an organisation that is renowned for its family-focused environment.

The Position
This position is for a fixed term until the end of July 2023 to cover maternity leave 40 hours per week over 5 days. We are looking for an experienced customer service person who is keen to learn about the fire industry. You will be someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with customers and building professional relationships with our key clients in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.

Primary tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Timely processing of bookings for our customers
  • Raise PO's
  • Open jobs, allocate & dispatch when required for service-related work.
  • Monitor and action ALL work orders in smart trade
  • Prepare fire equipment reports for clients.
  • Prepare client reports for non-Key Account customers.
  • Invoice service jobs

Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of New Zealand work experience.
  • Previous project management/administration experience in the construction/fire industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong process, time-management, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A high level of computer system literacy including using Microsoft products.
  • A high level of financial literacy.
  • An understanding of NZ Health and Safety Law.

The prerequisites for these roles are:

  • Have strong administration skills.
  • An eye for detail.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
