Argus is a well known company with over 30 years experience in the fire protection industry. The company covers all aspects including fire system design, installation, and ongoing testing and maintenance of fire systems.

The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to work out of our Auckland office in our Sprinkler Minor Works division. We are looking for someone who is ready to take that next step in their career, who has delivered a broad range of projects within the fire sprinkler industry, to become involved in some exciting and challenging fire protection projects. This role provides an opportunity to take full ownership of a high-profile client site involving projects from technically engineered solutions to standard warehousing and commercial/industrial systems.

The Role
The ideal candidate will need to have a solid understanding and experience in leading complex projects of work and solid project management skills however we are open to training the right person to undertake this role.
We need someone to manage multiple projects from final designs through to planning, consenting, organising resources and supplies, and overseeing construction through to the handover to the client. You will also be responsible for forecasting, budgets, quality, and customer relationship management.

You will have a strong focus on client relationship management and resolve any problems or concerns.

Your Background
•Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Health and Safety systems
•High level of experience and competency in Fire Sprinkler Systems.
•Related management or coordination experience
•Experience working on construction projects
•Practical technical knowledge and understanding of fire protection systems of all types, having worked in the industry for some time and know the regulations and standards preferably with industry qualifications
•NZ Building Code and NZ Standards knowledge preferred but not essential
•Good communication and man-management skills
•Good computer skills
•Professional and positive attitude
•Energetic and customer-focused
