Due to our continual growth, Argus Fire has the opportunity for you to join our team as Fire Alarm Estimator and work with an immensely experienced team on a vast range of projects.

Argus is a well-known company with over 30 years' experience in the fire protection industry. The company covers all aspects including fire system design, installation and ongoing testing and maintenance of fire systems.

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Estimator of Fire Alarm Systems in our Auckland branch. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of competence in pricing and installation of all aspects of Fire Alarm Systems.

  • Candidates must demonstrate:
  • All aspects of H&S systems 
  • At least 5 years' experience in Fire Alarm Systems.
  • An excellent understanding of the contracts act.
  • An understanding of the relevant industry practice, Standards and regulations
  • Unquestionable communication skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy.
  • Excellent record keeping and report compilation skills.


  • Other responsibilities within this role will include:
  • Representing the company with Architects, Engineers and Consultant.
  • Ensuring compliance on health and safety.
  • Achieving further sales of the company's products and services.
  • Provision of technical information, advice and assistance


  • Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the ability to be cool under pressure and able to negotiate between different stakeholders.

Success in this role is achieved by demonstrating accomplishments and having a proactive approach for positive outcomes but most of all to be part of the team.
